Tile Roof options

When it comes to selecting a tile roof product, there are several colors and styles to choose from, allowing for the freedom to handpick a tile roof that adequately serves the architectural style of the building. Below are some of the more popular tile roof products that you would come across in the Northeast – from Boston to New York.

Spanish Tile

Spanish tile is prized for its simple, one-piece barrel design which provides a pattern of distinctive ripples across the roof. Often synonymous with clay roof tile, Spanish tile enhances virtually any style of architecture from small bungalow’s to large public institutions. Color blends applied on Spanish tile creates the most authentic look of old Europe.

Mission Tile

Straight Barrel pans and covers with a smooth surface. The longer tile mean fewer pieces per square. High Profile barrels create distinctive shadows that change the look and feel of the roof as the sun moves in the sky making a striking statement of texture and style. The covers can be laid in straight rows or staggered and mortar boosted to produce a more rustic look.

Slate & Shake Tile

Available in a wide variety of sizes and colors, this tile works especially well on low slope roofs. Also available with a 75 year warranty in slate or shake surface finish as shown here. It has deep double side locks and an adjustable head lock for maximum weather protection.

Shingle Tile

Shingle Tiles vary by collection because each type comes with a specific texture that helps define the tile. Custom textures can also be applied to match historic applications or to meet a customer’s specific needs. Texture reduces glare reflecting off the tile and allows the true colors to show through. Many of our Shingle Tiles have a texture that is applied by hand, resulting in a uniquely crafted look.
